The Russian Investigation Committee did not confirm information on the
detention of a suspected murderer of a woman and attack on three other
people in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, head of the regional investigation Ivan
Sengerov told RIA Novosti.
On Wednesday night, the head of the press-service of the main police
department in Krasnodar Territory Igor Zhelyabin told RIA Novosti that
the had police detained a suspect in the crime in Dinskiy District.
On Wednesday morning, an assailant entered the house of a local in
Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Yulia Abramenko, who had Andrey Voropayev and
Natalya Yeremenko in his house as guests. The assailant killed
Yeremenko and injured Abramenko, her seven-year old daughter and
Voropayev.
They were hospitalized.
Sengerog said that the man has regained consciousness. The doctors are
trying to save the woman and her daughter, who was stabbed 13 times.
The investigation believes that crime was committed because of a
conflict. A former co-habitant of Yulia Abramenko is suspected in the
attack.
