Four families, whose houses burned down in the village of Tsibari in
the Tsuntin District in Dagestan, have been accommodated in the houses
of the reserve fund in the village of Mokok, RIA Novosti reports,
citing the main department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in
Dagestan.
The fire in Tsibari started on Tuesday. The fire quickly spread from
the lower part of the village due to high winds. 85 houses burned
down, only 10 were saved. 400 people live in the village. An airplane
of the Emergencies Ministry arrived in Makhachkala on Wednesday with
40 tons of humanitarian aid.
On Thursday, 33 empty houses in nearby villages were inspected, with
20 houses in Mokok and 13 in Shauri.
75 out of 128 school-age children were moved to study at the middle
school of Mokok and 53 to the school in Shauri.
Tsibari and Mokok have been provided with two field kitchens. There
have been no problems with food supplies. Food supplies were organized
by the head of the district using the reserves of the municipal
formation. 12 people received medical treatment. 157 received
psychological help on Thursday.
