Russia and Italy may reach level of the pre-crisis period of trade
turnover, in terms of the results of 2010, Russian President Dmitry
Medvedev said at the Russian-Italian inter-state consultations, RIA
Novosti reports.
The president noted that this was the seventh time the inter-state
consultations were being held for and had proved to be beneficial. The
countries are improving political, trade and economic, investment,
science, technical and cultural ties.
Medvedev said that Russia is interested in the support of EU countries
in modernizing its economy.
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi agreed with Medvedev’s vision
of the positive development of bilateral ties. He said that they will
continue improving cooperation at all levels.
