Kazakhstan to send instructors and sappers to Afghanistan

Kazakhstan has decided to send military instructors and engineers to
support the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan
(ISAF), US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced at the 'Manas’
military base in Bishkek, KazTag reports.


The decision means that ISAF will have 49 members.


Clinton did not clarify the quantity of Kazakh military that will join ISAF.
The Secretary of State said at the OSCE summit that Kazakhstan is
willing to join ISAF.
