Kabardino-Balkaria is hosting a German festival in Nalchik. The
program includes demonstrations of modern culture, traditions, economy
and the education system, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Minister of
Economy and Trade of Kabardino-Balkaria.
A photo-artist Nicolaus Brade will demonstrate an exhibition, which
includes film shows, photo-exhibitions, educational seminars,
master-classes in graphic designing.
The designer college of the State University of Kabardino-Balkaria
(SUKB)will see a presentation of the German design studio "Nickel".
Nikolaus Brade and a graphic designer Catherine Erl will have master
classes for three days.
The schedule includes a science-practical conference on the problems
and prospects of Russian-German cooperation.
Nalchik will also have a demonstration of the best cinema works of
German cinematographers. There will also be a round table on the
problems and prospects of developing the international tourism in
Kabardino-Balkaria.
The German festival was organized using a grant provided by the German
embassy in Moscow, awarded for winning the presidential program of
preparation of management staff, supported by the Goethe Institute,
the ministries of culture, economic development and trade, education
and science of Kabardino-Balkaria and the SUKB.
