The head of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, proposed an increase in the maximum military draft age from 27 to 32-35. “Increasing the military age will help reduce the number of objectors”, - Khachaturov said at an expanded session of the republic’s draft board on Tuesday, News Armenia reports.
He added that Azerbaijan, with greater mobilizing capabilities than Armenia, has a military age of 35.
