The Georgian parliament has approved the Georgian ambassadors to
Brazil, Mexico and Armenia. Malkhaz Mikeladze (92 deputy votes) will
be the ambassador to Mexico, Otar Berdzenishvili (91 votes) - to
Brazil, member of the opposition party of National Democrats Tengiz
Sharmanashvili (91 votes) will represent Georgia in Armenia, Trend
reports.
The head of the committee for foreign relations, Akakiy Minashvili,
said at the parliamentary session that Georgia has never previously
had ambassadors in Brazil and Mexico. One of their goals there will be
to attract investments.
