Ministers of foreign affairs of the CSTO's members have approved the
document on the actions of collective peacekeeping forces at a summit
in Moscow, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov said,
Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
The first deputy head of the joint staff of the organization
General-Colonel Anatoly Nogovitsyn said that all the members of the
CSTO confirmed their participation in the peacekeeping forces. A
declaration on the CSTO peacekeeping forces was approved, it will be
signed on Friday by the presidents within the framework of the Council
of Collective Security.
Moscow has also reached an agreement on holding joint training of the
united anti-missile system in two formats, the CIS and CSTO. The
training will be held at the Russian range Ashulug in August-September
2011.
