Iran offers to negotiate with world powers in presence of media

The Iranian authorities have offered to host the next round of talks
with the group of six international mediators (Russia, the USA, China,
Britain, France and Germany) in the presence of journalists, Trend
reports, citing the Chinese news agency Xinhua.

Talks on Iran's nuclear program which ended on the 7th of December in
Geneva were closed so the media. The next round of the discussions on
Iran's nuclear dossier is expected to take place in early 2011 in
Istanbul.

Western powers suspect Iran of developing nuclear weapons, while the
Islamic Republic says its program is aimed at the peaceful production
of civilian energy.
