"The decision to ease the anti-terrorist operation regime was made by operational staff at 3.00 pm", an agency spokesperson said.
The anti-terrorist operation regime involves such restrictive measures as document checks, clearing given areas of population and vehicles and monitoring of telephone conversations.
The operation was conducted from the 11th to the 14th of April in forested area in the Karabudakhkent district, south of the settlement of Gubden, where a group of gunmen was blockaded who were involved in attempts on the lives of members of the law-enforcement agencies and planning terrorist attacks against military forces. Two gunmen were
killed during the fighting. Two ammunition dumps were found on the territory of the operation.
