Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has filed a suit against
the UK's Daily Telegraph newspaper, which ran information about Iran
financing the Justice and Development Party, TRT reports.
The British newspaper Press reminded its readers that the Turkish
prime minister called the information false and brought up details of
the suit. The paper says that the article in the Daily Telegraph
violates the premier’s honour and political dignity.
Erdogan demanded that the Daily Telegraph never again publish
information about such assertions.
The Telegraph media-holding has not commented on the issue yet.
Premier Erdogan noted in his speech in Istanbul on September 25 that
the newspaper failed to present a single document.
