Responsibility for the terrorist act in the city of Chabahar in the Sistan and Belujistan province of Iran has been taken by the terrorist group "Jundulla", the information agency Mehr reports.
Two suicide bombers committed the terrorist act near the Imam Hussein Mosque in Chabahar at 10:30 a.m.; dozens of people were killed. According to the head of Sistan and Belujistan province, Ali Mohammadazade, 38 people were killed, among them a woman and a 3-month-old baby, 55 people were injured. One of the suicide bombers was killed by the explosion, the other was shot at attempting to escape.
The terrorist group "Jundulla" is an organization of Beluji Sunni's. It has been operating since 2003 on the territories of Iran and Pakistan. The previous terrorist act for which "Jundulla" was responsible took place in October 2009, when almost 50 people were killed.
