Putin to talk to nation live on TV, radio

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will answer questions from
citizens live on TV and radio. He will talk about xenophobia, the
retirement age, housing, kindergartens, gasification and the 2018
World Cup. The premier may also say whether December 31 will be a day
off.


The special program 'Conversation with Vladimir Putin. Resumption'
will be broadcast by the TV channels 'Russia 1', 'Russia 24', radio
stations 'Mayak', 'Vesti FM' and 'Radio Rossii' at 12.00 (Moscow
time). It will be the ninth show. The tradition was started when Putin
was the president.


The questions come in form of text messages, telephone calls and
Internet messages. They exceed half a million.
