Azerbaijan will set an age limit of 65 years for state officials, Trend reports.
The State Commission for State Service at the Azerbaijani president
told Trend that the amendments to the law on state service have been
introduced.
The state service allows Azerbaijani citizens aged 16 to work. A state
official has the right to continue work if he does not lose his
physical abilities when he retires. The law forbids forced retirement.
Azerbaijan has over 8,000 state officials registered.
