Azerbaijani ambassador: riots in Moscow are great threat to multiethnic Russia

The recent riots on Manezhnaya Square in Moscow and in the metro
represent a great threat to a multiethnic Russia, and only with the
joint efforts of politicians, NGOs, intellectuals and ordinary
citizens can this wave of violence be confronted, said the ambassador
of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation, Polad Bulbuloglu.

Yesterday the police managed to prevent further riots in Moscow.
Interior Ministry officers detained more than 1,300 people with 16 air
pistols and more than 200 knives, hammers and baseball bats in
different parts of the city.
