Iran arrests 8 people on suspicion of organizing terrorist attacks

Iranian authorities have arrested eight people on suspicion of
organizing terrorist attacks committed on Wednesday in the city of
Chabahar in the south-eastern Iran and which killed 38 people,
RIA-Novosti reports, referring to Reuters.

On Wednesday, in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan, a
fighter-bomber detonated an explosive device near the mosque of Imam
Hossein in Chabahar. The terrorist attack occurred during a mourning
ceremony in memory of the third Shiite Imam, Hossein ibn Ali, which
was attended by hundreds of believers. The Sunni group Jundullah
("Warriors of Allah") took responsibility for the exploision.

The Iranian authorities accuse "Jundullah" of mass killings, armed
robberies, kidnappings, bombings and sabotage. According to Tehran,
the group is associated with the US and UK secret services.
