Armenian president calls for major government reshuffle

At a meeting of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, President
Serzh Sargsyan proposed a major government reshuffle, News Armenia
reports, citing the Secretary of the RPA, Edward Sharmazanov.

"At the invitation of the Armenian President, the head of
ArmRosgazprom, Karen Karapetyan, was proposed for the post of mayor of
Yerevan, and Hrayr Tovmasyan – to the post of Minister of Justice,"
Sharmazanov said, adding that Tigran Davtyan was proposed to be
Minister of the Economy and Vache Gabrielian as Deputy Chairman of the
Central Bank.
