Dmitry Litvinenko, head of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, has resigned, and his
resignation note was approved at the City Council on December 16.
The head of Slavyanskiy District Anatoly Razumeyev introduced Roman
Sinyagovskiy, who was the deputy of Litvinenko, as the acting mayor of
the city. Litvinenko will be the deputy head of the city
administration for social affairs and the first deputy mayor.
Slavnews says that the mayoral elections in Slavyansk-on-Kuban will be
held on March 13, 2011.
