Baku opens service dog center

The state border service of Azerbaijan has opened a service dog
training center. The head of the border service Elchin Guliyev was at
the opening, Trend reports.


The center will study the experience of using animals in guarding the
state border, the search for people illegally crossing the border, the
prevention of terrorist attacks and provocations, as well as the
protection of state facilities and other activities.


The new center will have a dormitory, canteen, bashing house, photo
laboratory, X-ray room, veterinary point, enclosures for 100 adult and
58 small dogs and training grounds.
