Crimes committed by foreign nationals decrease annually in Russia

The percentage of crimes committed by foreigners declines every year,
the radio station ‘Ekho Moskvy’ cites first deputy head of the Federal
Migration Service (FMS), Mikhail Tyurkin.

Earlier, police authorities had repeatedly claimed that the proportion
of crimes committed by migrants was proportionately high, while the
former mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov, claimed that 46% of crimes in
the capital were committed by migrants.
