Ali Larijani, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, thinks that the leadership at the Iranian Foreign Ministry should have been changed with greater respect shown towards the former minister. Larijani gave his opinion during a speech to parliament on Sunday, Trend reports.
He said that more respect should have been expressed, by not dismissing Manouchehr Mottaki while he was on a visit to other country.
In a decree issued on December 13, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dismissed Mottaki as foreign minister and appointed the director of the country's Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, as acting foreign minister.
