On December 16, the head of the Armenian mission to NATO, Armen Yedigaryan, handed his credentials to NATO General Secretary Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Times.am reports.
Armen Yedigaryan and Anders Fog Rasmusen had a private conversation. The NATO General Secretary congratulated the head of the Armenian mission group and noted he appreciated NATO-Armenian relations and considers Armenia to be a good partner, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
According to the press service, the issue of doubling the Armenian contingent in Afghanistan is still on the agenda and the talks are continuing.
