Georgia has completed the autumn military draft ahead of schedule. The
head of the Central Draft Board and Minister for Regional Development
and Infrastructure, Ramaz Nikolaishvili, chaired its final meeting
about the results of the fall draft, News-Georgia reports.
During the autumn draft, which began on the 18th of August, 3854 men
were called up for service.
According to the Central Draft Board, the highly efficient activity of
the conscripts made it possible to end the autumn draft nearly two
weeks ahead of schedule.
