U.S. State Department strongly opposes Armenian genocide bill

The U.S. State Department has once again confirmed that it opposes a possible resolution in the House of Representatives on the Armenian genocide, U.S. State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told the daily briefing on Monday, Trend reports.

"We clearly stated that we oppose such a resolution. Our position has not changed," Crowley said, adding that the State Department is working closely with the House of Representatives on the resolution.
