Abkhazia and South Ossetia not invited to hearings on Russian-Georgian dossier at PACE

 

The upcoming hearings on the future of the Georgian-Russian dossier at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will go ahead without representatives from Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Yuga.ru reports that at his meeting with the chairman of the PACE, Dick Marty,  Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin expressed the wish that the commission try to look at the situation not only from the Georgian point of view but also take into account the position of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, but their representatives were not invited.
