Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has arrived in Istanbul to participate in the 11th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO),Trend reports.
During a visit to Turkey, Talabani, who represents Iraq at the summit as a guest, will meet with President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
ECO was founded in 1985 by Iran, Pakistan and Turkey. Today it also includes Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
