Former Armenian minister of economy appointed deputy chairman of Central Bank

The president of Armenia, Serge Sargsyan, has appointed the former economy minister, Nerses Yeritsyan, to the position of deputy chairman of the Central Bank for 6 years, News Armenia reports. Yeritsyan has been economy minister since 2007.

On the 17th of December Sargsyan signed an order, according to which Yeritsyan surrendered the office of minister of the economy; this position was given to the former finance minister, Tigran Davtyan. In his turn, the deputy chairman of the Central Bank, Vache Gabrielyan, was appointed to the position of finance minister.
