Grozny’s Terek to aim for Europa League

Victor Munoz has become the new senior coach of the Terek football
club, RIA Novosti cites the official website of the team.


The agreement was reached in negotiations with the vice-president of
Terek, Bulat Chagayev. The new coach of Terek will also introduce four
new assistants.


The previous coach, Anatoly Baidachny, impressed the authorities and
the fans of the team. He was offered to stay at the club or work as a
consultant coach. Baidachny thanked the club for the opportunity but
said that his work is in managing.


The press secretary of Terek, Kazbek Khadzhiyev, said that the head of
Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, had set a goal of competing in the Europa
League.


Munoz started his career in 1995. Before training at Terek he worked
with Spain's Getaf in 2008-2009.
