Russian border guards, Abkhazian security services hold exercises in Abkhazia

 Exercises involving Russian border guards and the Abkhazian security
services are taking place at the headquarters of the border
administration of Russia's FSB (Federal Security Service) in Abkhazia.

The first stage of the two-day exercises ended on Thursday, Apsnypress reports.

The first day was theoretical. The practical stage involves exercises
simulating a threat to the Georgian-Abkhazian border and will take
place on 23 April in the Gal region.

The largest joint exercise between Russian border guards and the
Abkhazian security services will see the participation of FSB
aviation, marine units and special subdivisions.
