The third meeting of the interior ministers of the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization took place in Instanbul, the Turkish state broadcasting company TRT reports.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey, Beshir Atalay, called his colleagues to support an agreement, aimed at combating terrorism and organized crime.
The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is an intergovernmental regional organization, formed in 1985 and is
a successor organization of the Regional Cooperation for Development. The members of the ECO are Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
