The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), investigators and police
have located an ammunition cache in Ingushetia. The cache belongs to a
Karabulak militant group, headed by the suspected organizer of a
terrorist attack in Vladikavkaz Yusup Jangiyev, the FSB department in
Ingushetia said on Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports.
A suicide bomber blew himself up in a vehicle at the entrance of the
central market in Vladikavkaz on September 9. Specialists say the bomb
was equal to 30-40 kg of TNT. 19 people were killed and over 200
injured.
The cache had 2 Aks, ammunition and military equipment.
Yusup Jangiyev, suspected leader of the Karabulak militant group is
suspected in organizing the terrorist attack in Vladikavkaz on
September 9. He was arrested on January 11, 2011. He admitted that he
was planning a new attack.
