Azerbaijan expects action on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict from new US ambassador

Azerbaijan hopes that the appointment of the new US ambassador to the
country, Matthew Bryza, will intensify the role of Washington in the
settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Trend reports.

"The US is the co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group on the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Until now, the Minsk Group has not achieved
any results which are satisfying to Azerbaijan, the conflict remains
unresolved. Naturally, the responsibility is some extent on the US,"
Ali Akhmedov, the vice head of the Azerbaijani ruling party said.
