The appeal of the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Avigdor
Liberman, to his Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Davutoglu, on starting a
dialogue after his unethical speech about Turkey, is considered
unconvincing, TRT reports.
Davutoglu said that normalization of relations via a newspaper article
is impossible. Israel must not forget about the death of Turkish
citizens on the Mavi Marmara vessel and needs serious self-criticism.
Davutoglu is continuing diplomatic work on the Iranian nuclear
program. Davutoglu had a telephone conversation with the head of the
Iranian delegation for its nuclear programme, Said Jalili, and will
soon meet the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Akbar Salehi.
