Turkmen leader defines country's development priorities for 2011

The president of Turkmenistan regards 2010 as "a good example of
comprehensive development of the state" and a successful year in terms
of reforms and transformations, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

A meeting of the Turkmen Cabinet under the leadership of President
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov  took place today. The participants of the
meeting summed up the results of 2010 and defined the country's
priorities for 2011.

President Berdimuhamedov has outlined 10 priorities to be implemented
in 2011. Among the priorities is the continuation of reforms in such
key areas as culture and education, continuation of an active foreign
policy of the country in line with the neutral status of the state,
preparation of the legislative framework for the further development
of privatization, etc.
