Iran's Majlis (Parliament) Speaker, Ali Larijani, says foreign powers are instilling fear into people in various regions to maintain their own dominance and illegitimate interests, Press TV reports.
Larijani made the remarks at a meeting on Monday with South Korean Ambassador to Tehran, Park Jae-hyun, in reference to the latest developments and tensions on the Korean peninsula.
The senior Iranian official reiterated that tension and instability would seriously harm countries in the Korean region. "Only foreign powers would benefit from the instability and insecurity of that region," Larijani added.
