Strasbourg Court closes 1549 actions against Georgia

The Strasbourg Court has closed the half of the suits brought against Georgia, The Georgian Timesreports .

The closures are due to the absence of mandatory data. The Court made the decision to close 1549 out of 3300 cases in accordance with Paragraph 37 of the European Convention on the Protection of Human
Rights. According to the Press Service, the Court has twice requested relevant information regarding the August War in 2008, but in vain.
