The head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Arsen Kanokov, said that the
agro-industrial complex will be the main focus of development in the
republic for the next few years.
Kanokov clarified that Baksan District continues construction of the
greenhouse complex within the development of the agro-industry. 20
hectares of greenhouses are being exploited for growing vegetables and
for hydroponics.
The agro-industry is important and should be based on high technology,
Interfax cites Kanokov as saying.
