Criminals besieged in Makhachkala

Law-enforcement officers have surrounded the criminals who opened fire
on policemen in Makhachkala on Thursday afternoon, and a shoot-out is
ongoing in the vicinity of a residential building, RIA Novosti
reports, referring to its source in the police department of
Makhachkala.

The attack on police officers occurred about an hour ago. According to
a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan, one
policeman was killed and one injured.
