The Counter-Espionage structure of the Russian Federal Security
Service (FSB) have detained an officer at a base of the South Military
District, David Ruslanovich Aliyev, and his mother Irina Yakovlevna
Aliyeva, suspected of espionage for Georgia, the center for public
contact of the FSB said on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.
Both suspects have been charged with treason in the form of espionage.
