The South Ossetian Parliament will establish a deputy commission to
investigate the government’s activities. Premier Vadim Brovtsev will
head the commission. The decision was made at a parliamentary
presidium in Tskhinvali, RIA Novosti reports citing the South Ossetian
state committee on information, communication and mass media.
The decision to establish the commission was made according to a vote
of censure from a group of deputies. The commission’s staff will be
formed by parliamentary committees on legislature, legality and local
autonomy and the committee on budget and taxes. It is to be approved
by the parliamentary presidium.
Two committee heads, Amiran Diakonov and Mairu Sanakoyev, were
appointed co-reporters for the parliamentary commission’s report.
