Head of Armenian church postpones visit to Georgia

A visit by All-Armenian Catholicos Gagerin II to Georgia that was
planned for June has been put back to October this year, Georgian
Times
reports.


Within the session of the High Clergy Council the head of interchurch
relations reported that the visit was postponed due to a request from
the inviting side - the head of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Iliya II,
Armenia Today reports. The visit will now take place from October
22-28.
