Turkish government approves declaration concerning Israel

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey accepted a declaration
concerning the attack on a Turkish humanitarian cargo ship heading to
Gaza by Israeli naval forces. The declaration involves the creation of
a commission to investigate human rights violation during the attack.
The commission members will visit Israel, Vesti.az reports.


The head of the commission, Zafar Uskiul, noted they appealed to the
Human Rights Council of UN, to the Commissioner for Human Rights of
EC, the subcommittee for Human Rights of EU and the heads of the
corresponding parliamentary commissions of various countries. Uskiul
said that the preparations of the commission members to visit Israel
began today.
