Russian interests will not be hurt when new United Nations sanctions
against Iran come into force, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
said, RIA Novosti reports.
The resolution does not imply any restrictions on trade-economic
relations between Russia and Iran, including the nuclear project
'Bushehr' or the construction of any other light water reactor. Lavrov
confirmed that the 'Bushehr' nuclear plant in south Iran will be
launched in August of this year.
He also said that the resolution will not forbid cooperation with Iran
on offensive and defensive arms, including S-300 missiles.
