Egypt to open embassy in Georgia

The representative embassy of Egypt will begin operating in Georgia
next year, announced parliamentary deputy and head of the Egyptian
Friendship group Koba Habazi, after meeting
with the Egyptian ambassador Vahid Galal and discussing prospects for
furthering bilateral ties, reports Georgia Online.
A Georgian business delegation will travel to Egypt in the near future
to deepen economic cooperation. 2011 will see a festival devoted to
Egyptian culture.
