RussianDefense Minister Anatoliy Serdiukov confirmed that the Black
Sea fleet will receive new ships. The head of Russian Naval Forces
Vladimir Vysotskiy said that the fleet will have 15 new ships and
submarines by 2020, RIA Novosti reports.
Russian and Ukrainian defense ministers, Anatoliy Serdiukov and
Mikhail Yezhel, signed a protocol in Sevastopol on Thursday after the
results of the subcommittee for defense. The Russian minister said
that they had talks on 10 issues, making a decision on each one. They
include the use of NITKA air ground for An-70 aircraft and cooperation
between the two defense structures.
