Iran insists on Russia fulfilling S-300 shipment

Iranian Minister of Defense Ahmad Vahidi said that Russia must fulfill
its obligations on the contract of shipping S-300 AA missile
complexes, the Russian service of Iranian state radio reports.


Vahidi said that the contract is not restricted by the UN resolutions.
He said that Iran is taking measures against the possible vetting of
Iranian ships after the introduction of resolution No 1929.


Concerning Israeli threats about attacking Iranian nuclear facilities,
Vahidi noted that the Zionists are not strong enough threaten Iran,
Israel's threatening outbursts are aimed at local public opinion and
resemble attempts to get out of an internal crisis.
