Colonel Ali Akhmedov has been appointed police chief in Makhachkala police, reported the press service of Daghestani Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday to Interfax.
According to the press service, Ali Akhmedov has been appointed by order of Ali Magomedov, Daghestani Minister of Home Affairs, and entered upon his duties on Saturday. Heretofore Ahmadov headed the police of Levashinsky district in Dagestan.
Ahmed Magomedov , the previous police chief was killed in Makhachkala February, 5 this year.
