The secretaries of the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organisation) countries, who have gathered in Moscow to discuss the situation in Kyrgyzstan, have passed a statement calling on the Kyrgyz interim government to take all necessary steps towards stabilising the country and have described external interference as insufficient, ITAR-TASS
reports.
The CSTO countries have also agreed to use all possible means to help the settlement of the conflict in southern Kyrgyzstan, dependant on circumstances.
