Firefight in Dagestan – criminal case initiated
Investigating authorities of Dagestan initiated criminal case in connection with firefight, which happened in the morning near the village Chontaul, Kizlyar region. Two policemen were killed, one injured, said ICP representative of Dagestan to RIA News.
“Criminal case was initiated according to the article 317 of Criminal Code. Circumstances of the case are to be investigated,” – he said.
The source, close to law-enforcement authorities, reported that, patrol has stopped car for checking. Between the driver and policemen started a quarrel resulted in firefight.
“The policeman and driver, who happened to a policeman as well, were killed. Another policeman was injured.”
There is another version of what happened. The driver didn’t react at the demand to stop for checking, pursuing started and resulted in firefight.
