Georgia was among the first countries to send humanitarian aid, including medicines and vital supplies, to Kyrgyzstan, reports Rosbalt.
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has expressed concern about the situation in the country and noted that Georgia is ready to support the Kyrgyz people.
The situation in the ex-Soviet republic has slightly stabilized after last week’s violent protests in which 81 people died. Many more are in need of medical assistance.
